Project Blue Book was a US Government institution, collecting and evaluating any evidence suggesting the existence of UFO's. Many individuals gave detailed descriptions of their encounters with the "unexplained" and sent them in for evaluation. The government closed the agency in 1964 and its documents have been made available since. The documents are riddled with redactions and censoring, destroying any witness identification. In an attempt to restore their identity. I made linocuts of the redactions, turning each individual that was erased through bureaucracy into a mystery of its own.
